All prospective students and their parents/guardians are welcome to attend. Please contact the school if childcare is needed.  Parking is available to the south of the school, just north of Gerrard.

Founded in 2009, Equinox Holistic Alternative School, part of the Toronto District School Board, is open to anyone residing in the city of Toronto. Equinox is a dynamic school that offers a unique, holistic curriculum that makes connections between the community, earth, soul, subject and the mind and body, while also striving to restore a balance between analysis and intuition. The school curriculum is designed to engage not just the intellect but also the hands, heart and spirit of each child.

1) Holistic philosophy, curriculum, and outdoor education and arts programs
2) TDSB Optional Attendance Policy, applications, waitlist procedures
3) Meet current students, and members of our staff and school council
4) Tour of the building and inside teaching areas

We are accepting applications for students going into Gr. Junior Kindergarten (JK) to 8.

JK admission is based on a lottery process, and the deadline for applications is Friday, February 14, 2014. Everyone who applies receives a call before the end of March with either an offer of placement or information about their spot on the waitlist.

If your child is currently on the waitlist from last year, you must let us know if you wish to remain on the waitlist for the 2015-2016 school year. Only those applicants who call back in January of each year are moved forward to the next year’s waitlist, so please mark your calendar if you think you’ll still be interested in future years.
