Attention: Parents of students participating in the Folk Dance Jamboree
Where: Albert Campbell Square, Scarborough
When: Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017
Assembly Time: Between 5:45-6:00 p.m.
Processional to Albert Campbell Square: 6:15 p.m. sharp
Dance Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Clothing: Warm clothing (if necessary) underneath Folk Dance T-Shirt which will be distributed on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017. Comfortable clothing and shoes are required.
Cancellation Procedures: The decision to cancel will be made at noon on May 3rd. The decision will be communicated through the students and the blog. Rain dates will be given as soon as possible, likely the following week.
Assembly Information:
Parents are responsible for bringing their own children to the grassy section between the apartment buildings and the Canada passport office to the east of Albert Campbell Square. Parents must also be available immediately following the final dance. Students should not leave early as they are paired up with a dance partner for many of the dances. This is the same location as last year.
Please make sure your child has gone to the bathroom prior to the assembly time and that you are on site and available for your child for the entire event. There will not be staff available to take your child to the bathroom during the processional and dance times.
