The 2016 Great BIG Crunch
Our school is participating in a synchronized crunch of locally- grown apples or vegetables on Thursday March 10 at 2:30 pm in the gym.
Please send an apple or vegetables such as carrots with your child on Thursday March 10 to participate in the Great Big Crunch.
FoodShare Toronto is a non profit community organization that reaches over 159,000 children and adults in Toronto every month. The Great Big Crunch initiative is a part of its “Field to Table” schools program.
Food Share's annual Great Big Crunch invites school communities, daycares, workplaces, community groups and families to learn about healthy eating and local food systems by taking a giant synchronized crunch into a locally grown apple and vegetables.
