Highland Creek Public School
is looking for donations of gently used or new items for the Highland Creek
Student Holiday Shopping event.
Gently used items you have
at home like toys, books, kitchen items (no food or stuffed toys please) and
new items as well (i.e. bath products, dollar store items etc…)as well as gift
wrapping, gift bags, ribbons and tape. Please send your donations to the school
by Monday, December 7th.
On Monday, December 14th,
students will have the opportunity to shop for gifts for their family. Gifts
will range in price from 25 cents to $5 and all gifts will be wrapped and
tagged to bring home for the holidays.
A portion of the proceeds
raised at the event will go towards the West Hill Community Food Bank and the
remaining funds will support Scientists in the Classroom, arts performances and
the library at Highland Creek Public School.
